Visual Identity of GateIn Portal is given by applied skins. Skins are packages consisting of CSS files, background images, etc. Skins can be applied to whole Sites or Portlets.

It is not only possible to deploy multiple skins and apply apply different skins to individual Sites and Portlets. The skin selection can also be made accessible to the users so that they can choose their preferred skin.
