Discipline: Service-Oriented Design
The objective of the tasks in this discipline is to derive concrete physical service designs from the identified logical service candidates, and to assemble these concrete services into compositions realizing the target business processes.

Main Description

In this stage, service contracts  and related processing logic (including orchestration and business rules) are designed. The services are designed from the logical models created during service-oriented analysis.

The services are assembled into compositions, while maintaining the loose coupling inherent in “contract-first” design. During design, the assignment of services to layers is also refined.
