These packages contain Hibernate classes and interfaces fully expected to be exposed to application code. This is constitues the public API of Hibernate and is therefore stable between minor releases (except in very rare cases).
These packages contain interfaces and classes programmers are expected to use to extend Hibernate functionality. None of these contracts are intended to be called by the application; they are called internally by Hibernate in reaction to application driven actions. This API is less stable than the Core API.
The safest way to extend Hibernate functionality is to contribute extensions back to the project such that they will be updated when the given extension SPI changes.
Defines the integration with JBoss Cache
using the RegionFactory
SPI.
Defines (oddly) various miscellaneous APIs with which users may need to interact in different scenarios.
Defines various internal Hibernate classes and APIs. These classes should be treated as internal implementation details.
