Enum InequalVersionComparisonResult

extends java.lang.Enum<InequalVersionComparisonResult>
    Versions can be compared to each other to result in one version being before, after or at the same time as another version. This is different from the JDK's Comparable interface, which is much more simplistic in that it doesn't differentiate between something that is the same versus equal-but-different.

        public static final InequalVersionComparisonResult CONFLICTING
        Denotes a version that was created at the same time as another version, but is not equal. This is only really useful when using a partition-aware versioning scheme, such as vector or Lamport clocks.

        Returns the enum constant of this type with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this type. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)

        name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.
        Returns:
        the enum constant with the specified name
        Throws:
        java.lang.IllegalArgumentException - if this enum type has no constant with the specified name
        java.lang.NullPointerException - if the argument is null
