1.1. Libraries

This book is a guide to the various components available in the RichFaces 5.0.0.Alpha2 framework. It includes descriptions of the role of the components, details on how best to use them, coded examples of their use, and basic references of their properties and attributes.

1.1. Libraries

The RichFaces 5 framework is made up of a single tag library: the r library.

r library: The r tag library provides core Ajax and utility components, as well as ready-made, self-contained, rich user-interface components. These components have built-in Ajax support. By default, the components don’t require additional configuration in order to send requests or update, but can also be customized by plugging in utility behaviors.
